The Muslim American Society of New York (MAS) recognized the Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) for public advocacy on diversity and Muslim American civic engagement.
TASC was honored to take part of an event carried out at United Nations Headquarters in NYC, titled Accessible Cities, organized by World Disability Union (WDU).
TASC congratulates the Turkish National Amputee Soccer Team for winning the silver medal in the 2018 World Cup in San Juan de Los Lagos, Mexico. Angola placed first, Brazil third and Mexico fourth. The Turkish Nationals lost 4-5 in penalties after drawing 0-0 with Angola in regulation time.
TASC together with Kemal Bozkurt held a gathering in Lawrence, Massachusetts to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey.
